The Barrettos wanted to help address the issue of overcrowding in hospitals in Quezon City. It can be recalled that the Eat Avenue Medical Center, located in the said city, went controversial just recently as broadcast journalist Arnold Clavio revealed that bodies piled up at the morgue.

Through that expose, the medical center received a mortuary freezer donation and that called out the attention of people who could also help.

In line with this, the Barretto siblings also did their part. In the recent Instagram post of Claudia Barretto, she shared that they raised funds that reached P651,952.22 passing their target amount of P600,000.

“P350,000 will go to the building of the Emergency Quarantine Facility, which is currently on going right now. And the P301,952.22 will go to the workforce for their meals and PPEs,” Claudia shared. She also shared photos of the ongoing project.

With this, they thanked all the people who help them raised the said amount.
