WORLDWIDE CORONAVIRUS CASES – The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the globe is exceeds 1.5 million now.

One of the biggest concern of the different nations in the world now is the 2019 coronavirus or COVID-19. It is already a pandemic, its impact is far beyond what was expected, as declared by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The COVID-19 was first recorded in China. Its epicenter in the Chinese country is the city of Wuhan which was locked amid the outbreak of the disease. In the country, over 81,000 people were infected and, unfortunately, over 3,300 lost the battle against the disease.

Currently, several countries across the globe have confirmed cases of coronavirus. Some of these nations are the United States, the Philippines, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and South Korea.

The COVID-19 has caused several countries to lock down their borders amid the fight against the said disease. One of these nations is Italy which recorded the highest death toll at 17,669 based on Worldometer’s tally.

With regards to the country with the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases, it is the United States. The American country which is still under a national emergency now has already recorded over 427,000.

The worldwide coronavirus cases now exceed 1.5 million count. Based on the tally, the total confirmed cases across the globe now is at 1,509,678. The global death toll is 88,334.

One of the common measures implemented in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 is the quarantine. Most countries with confirmed cases implement it to limit the movement of the people which can also curb the spread of the disease.

Also, the authorities are encouraging the people to exhibit social distancing. It is to avoid spreading infections or contracting the disease. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is a longterm battle against the disease.
