Vico Sotto Purchase Fresh Veggies From Benguet For Their COVID-19 Frontliners
VICO SOTTO – Mayor Vico Sotto bought fresh vegetables from Benguet for the COVID-19 frontliners in Pasig.
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto is the son of veteran actors Coney Reyes and Vic Sotto. He is considered as one of the controversial politicians today.
The 30-year-old mayor has done several changes in the city. He is admired by lots of people due to his passion and true heart in service.
In a previous article, Mayor Vico Sotto recently had an issue with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The authorities summoned him after he allowed the tricycle driver to continue their operation. He allegedly violated the “enhanced community quarantine” protocol.
The issue didn’t intimidate the young mayor. Vico Sotto continues to provide help and keep their frontliners healthy amid the COVID-19 crisis. He did this to ensure that their heroes stay fit and healthy throughout the pandemic.
On Friday, April 3, the mayor shared on his Twitter account that they bought vegetables from Benguet for the frontliners on Pasig City. He said the ‘Ang Probinsyano’ party-list helped him connect to the farmers in Benguet.
Vico Sotto said they purchased bulk supplies so that they could provide fresh vegetables for the daily meals of their local cleaners, checkpoint officials, and healthcare workers.
“GULAY GALING BENGUET! Kulang ang supply ng gulay sa palengke ngayon. Kaya malaking tulong itong bigay nina Cong Ong ng Ang Probinsyano Partylist… at malaking tulong din ito sa mga magsasaka ng Benguet. Gagamitin ‘to sa Community Kitchen para sa ~3,000 frontliners natin,” he wrote.
