John Arcilla Says COVID-19 Take Away Chance to See Father For The Last Time

JOHN ARCILLA – Actor John Arcilla said 2019 novel coronavirus lockdown made his dad’s death even more painful.

Romeo John Gonzales Arcilla or better known as John Arcilla is one of the prominent actors in the Philippines. He was known for his performance in the movie “Heneral Luna.”

The multi-awarded actor is one of the people who are affected by the 2019 novel coronavirus crisis. His recently revealed that his beloved father died amid the coronavirus lockdown.

On Monday, April 5, John Arcilla took to Facebook to open up about the sudden death of his father named Dominador Alemania Arcilla. He died at the age of 86.

The veteran actor clarified that his dad did not die because of coronavirus. He said the community quarantine made his father’s death more painful because half of their family resides in Manila and they couldn’t immediately travel to Baler due to the lockdown.

COVID-19 has changed how the relatives deal with the dead. John Arcilla also asked his friends and supporters to pray for his family and his father.

“I just need to express something that is too much bear. Please pray for our family most specially for my beloved father Dominador Alemania Arcilla. Thank you for reading this. God bless you all,” he wrote.
