Brave Frontliner Gives Heartbreaking Message to Pasaway Residents Defying Lockdown Protocols
The heartbreaking message of a frontliner to hard-headed residents saying “Hindi namin alam kung hanggang kailan na lang buhay namin” goes viral online.
A few weeks ago, President Rodrigo Duterte has declared the Philippines under a state of calamity due to the rampant spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). He also placed Luzon under an enhanced community quarantine.
The enhanced community quarantine limits the movement of the residents, restrict mass gathering, mass transport, and impose curfew policy. The lockdown protocol requires residents to stay at home and a family representative is the only allowed to go outside to buy foods and medicine.
Unfortunately, there are still some hard-headed or “pasaway” residents who continue to defy the lockdown protocols. The government personnel, health workers, and other frontliners are already struggling to implement the new measure.
Recently, a Facebook user named Xyrus Ar-Ae Geronimo has shared the heartbreaking message of a frontliner to hard-headed residents. The video footage garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the cop is asking the residents to stay at home and expressed the desire of frontliners to see their families. He also said that they are already tired buy they choose to help fight the spread of the disease.
The brave policeman also touched the hearts of the netizens after saying “Sa totoo lang hindi namin alam kung hanggang kalian na lang buhay naming eh.”
