A freelance production talent from GMA-7 died due to Coronavirus Disease 2019.
CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 – GMA-7’s freelance production talent has died due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), Friday, April 3.
A lot of people’s lives from different parts of the world have been taken by the pandemic and deadly Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This was first recorded in Wuhan, China and was now spread worldwide infecting nearly a million already.
And now, the latest reported to be killed by this malevolent virus is a freelance production talent from GMA network. Direk Crisaldo Pablo posted on Friday morning that the director of photography Joseph has died due to coronavirus whom he described as kind, humble, and helpful.
Last March 21, in the pinned post of the network on Twitter, they have confirmed that a freelance production talent tested positive for the virus. But according to FDCP Chairperson Liza Diño, the patient’s pneumonia was treated but a complication in the brain has left him still in a comatose state.
And just this morning, April 3, he died and his hospital bill accordingly cost more or less Php 1.2-million but there were speculations that it reached Php 2-million. His mother tested negative but currently under isolation while his Tita tested positive and was sent to San Lazaro Hospital. They were the two persons who stayed with the late talent since his confinement.
He and his wife has a 9 month old baby and he got cremated at 5 A.M. According to Direk Zig Dulay based on PEP’s report, Joseph is one of the DOPs he trusted the most. He was able to work with him in programs such as Wagas, Karelasyon, Dangwa, Tadhana, Sirkus, Sahaya, One Hugot Away, Magpakailanman, and Project Destination. And films including Bambanti, Paglipay, Bagahe at Akin Ang Korona.
