DOH Gives Update on COVID-19 Cases in the Philippines
DOH – The Department of Health recorded 227 new cases of coronavirus or COVID-19 in the Philippines.
The common enemy across the globe now is the COVID-19, a pandemic as declared by the World Health Organization (WHO). It has affected several countries and took over 33,000 lives now.
The Philippines is one of the nations battling against the increasing cases of coronavirus in the country. The entire Luzon is currently under an enhanced community quarantine as part of the fight against COVID-19.
Also, several provinces in Visayas and Mindanao are under quarantines to curb the spread of the coronavirus infection. Everyone is advised to stay at home to prevent the spread of the disease.
Based on the latest update from the Department of Health (DOH), 227 new cases of COVID-19 were recently recorded. It brings the total coronavirus cases in the country to 2,311.
With regards to the death toll, eight (8) new deaths were recorded bringing the total to 96. Based on the post, there is one (1) new recovery resulting to fifty (50) total recoveries now.
