Despite the enhanced community quarantine announced in Luzon due to COVID-19 and to some areas outside of this, many people are still going to work. They have no other choice but to put their health at risk just to have something to feed their family.

And right away, in March 19, 2020, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announced their COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP). This is for the workers who are greatly affected with the enhanced quarantine being declared.

With this, they will be able to receive one-time financial assistance worth Php 5,000.00 which workers under flexible working arrangement or under temporary suspension can avail. This program has been implemented nationwide on March 21, 2020.

How will you be able to get this assistance?

EMPLOYERS or BUSINESS OWNERS of small to medium enterprises will the one in-charge of the application for CAMP. They just have to download from DOLE website the Establishment Report Form and fill it up. Attached to it is the copy of employee’s payroll for February or the past month.

After this, it should be sent to the e-mail of the DOLE Regional Office and this will inspected for three working days if the employee is eligible or not to have this. If approved, the employer will receive a “Notice of Approval” and the money will be then via bank transfer to their respective payroll account or through money remittance.

And lastly, “Notice of Completion” must be sent to DOLE.
