Local Authorities Caught Stubborn Resident Violating Lockdown Protocols
The video footage of a stubborn resident being scolded by the local authorities for violating lockdown protocols elicits comments online.
Last week, President Rodrigo Duterte has declared the Philippines under a state of calamity due to the rampant spread of the coronavirus. The president made the declaration after the cases of COVID continued to increase.
Mr. Duterte has also placed Luzon on enhanced community quarantine to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease. The preventive measure limits the movements and transactions of the residents.
The lockdown protocols include curfew policy, restriction of mass gatherings and mass transport. Local government units are already implementing the curfew policy to ensure the safety of the residents.
Recently, the Facebook page “Palamig KA MUNA” has shared the video footage of a stubborn resident being scolded by the local authorities for violating the curfew policy. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the local authorities confronted the resident for staying outside during curfew hours. However, the man even boasted its religion despite his mistake of violating the quarantine standards.
