Belinda Bagatsing Says Husband Joey Bautista Dies Due To Coronavirus

Classic pop-rock band Mulatto lead singer Joey Bautista died due to coronavirus disease, according to his wife Belinda Bagatsing.

On Friday (March 20, 2020), Belinda Bagatsing confirmed on her Facebook post that her husband Joey Bautista has passed away. She revealed that the singer is suffering from a severe case of pneumonia.

Eventually, the ’90s band Mulatto frontman tested positive for coronavirus disease. Belinda advised everyone who had been around the singer for the last 30 days have to monitor themselves and have a checkup.

Bagatsing will also undergo quarantine for at least 21 days and she also denied the claims that the Mulatto singer performed in Albay, Bicol province last March 11, 2020.

“If any of you were around us the last 30 days, please monitor yourselves and get yourself checked if you don’t feel well. I have no symptoms and under quarantine for 21 days. Stay safe everyone,” Belinda said on her Facebook post.

Several celebrities and Bautista’s friends in the showbiz industry including Vivian Velez and Sunshine Cruz expressed their condolences for their late friend.
