Update on the Coronavirus Test Results of 5 Specimens from Cebu
CORONAVIRUS TEST RESULTS – The results of the test of five (5) specimens from Cebu for COVID-19 were released.
Several cities in the Philippines now have sent specimens for testing for COVID-19. The said disease has infected nearly 200 people in the country and continues to alarm the Filipinos.
Currently, there is a total of 193 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Philippines based on the latest information from the Department of Health (DOH). Twelve (12) of these confirmed cases died during treatment.
There are a lot of patients under investigation (PUIs) for possible coronavirus infection in the different hospitals across the nation. There are also a lot of persons under monitoring or PUM.
For confirmation, the specimens of the suspected patients have to be checked. Cebu has sent 65 specimens for checking for possible coronavirus infection.
Based on a recent post of CDN Digital, the coronavirus test results of five (5) specimens sent from Cebu were released. All the five (5) specimens tested negative for coronavirus.
Cebu City remains free from COVID-19. Based on the post, fifteen (15) out of 65 specimens sent for checking have already tested negative.
