COVID-19 SPREADS TO ALL CANADIAN PROVINCES – All 10 of Canada’s provinces had reported cases of the new coronavirus, COVID-19.

As such, Theresa Tam, Chief Public Health officer urged everyone to take strong action to prevent the spread of the virus. Additionally, Tam emphasized that the window if containing the virus was narrowing.
According to a report from ABS-CBN, she highlighted important preventive measures such as:
- Limiting travel
- Self-isolation for 14 days if returning from a trip abroad
- Avoiding large crowds
- Practicing Social Distancing
- Working from home
Most of the cases (in Canada) have been linked to travel
but that could change very quickly.

We’ve taken some very strong measures, and we are not taking anything off the table, we are looking daily at next steps that we might take, or we shouldn’t take
With this, Tam emphasized that every country should contain the outbreak in their own setting. In addition, she said that countries with strong travel restrictions were affected the most.
