DOH Confirms 2 More Coronavirus Patients in the Philippines
CORONAVIRUS PATIENTS IN THE PHILIPPINES – The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed that two (2) more patients of COVID-19 died.
Unfortunately, not only the confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Philippines is increasing now but as well as the death toll. The Department of Health (DOH) has continuously given the public updates on both counts.
There are 16 new cases of coronavirus according to DOH. This count brought the total to 64 confirmed cases in the country. Most of the patients are confined in hospitals and medical facilities in Metro Manila.
Currently, the Metro Manila is under a community quarantine. It is a move to curb the spread of the disease and it involves the temporary suspension of land, air, and sea travels to and from Metro Manila starting March 15.
In line with the matter, the Department of Health (DOH) recently released an update. According to the health department, two (2) more coronavirus patients in the Philippines died.
The current addition is the 2nd and 3rd death cases recorded today. It brought the total coronavirus death toll to eight (8).
According to the DOH, they are still gathering further information about the recent deaths. More updates may be posted soon.
