Beloved NBA Analyst Charles Barkley Is Ill & Awaits Test Results For Coronavirus

CHARLES BARKLEY ILL – The NBA has been hit with the new coronavirus, COVID-19 with a couple of players testing positive for the virus.

Recently, NBA Players Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. Both players are from NBA team Utah Jazz.

Mitchell tested positive for the deadly virus following no signs and symptoms of the disease. Meanwhile, Donovan, the second NBA tests positive for the virus after his All-Star teammate.

Following this, the NBA’s coronavirus scare reached the preeminent broadcasting studio on Thursday. This was followed by Charles Barkley revealing he was under self-quarantine while waiting for COVID-19 results.

The former Hall of Famer and beloved analyst stated:

I spent the earlier part of the week in New York City. When I got to Atlanta yesterday, I wasn’t feeling well

According to an article from Yahoo Sports, Barkley said doctors told him to place himself under quarantine for the next 48 hours.

I haven’t been feeling great and they didn’t want me to take any chances … I went and took the coronavirus test late this afternoon, I have not gotten the results back. So I’m just kinda in limbo right now. I’m really hoping it was just a bug

Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the NBA suspended its season after two players tested positive for the disease. As such, several other sports leagues like the NHL, MLB, and NCAA suspended their seasons as well.

Meanwhile, NBA player Rudy Gobert was criticized for seemingly “touching all the microphones in the media rooms on purpose”.
