CSI Grocery Store Lauded By Netizens For Implementing 1 Alcohol Customer Person Rule
GROCERY STORE LAUDED – As the Philippines reported its first cases of local COVID)-19 transmissions, panic buying of medical supplies began.
This included face masks and alcohol bottles among others. However, the majority of the hoarders buy in-bulk and resell the supply online for a higher price, capitalizing on fear.
This led to a grocery store to put an end to the trend by implementing a simple rule: “Alcohol Limit at 1 Piece Per Customer”.
Facebook Netizen Icko Syrus Rivera Cera uploaded photos on his Facebook that showed a CSI grocery store stocked full of much-needed alcohol.
Kudos CSI for limiting the purchase of alcohol to 1 piece per person only. This is to ensure that everyone gets the chance to have an alcohol. 😊
To those looking for a supply of alcohol, an ample stock is available at any CSI grocery store. Bought mine at CSI Square Dagupan. 😊
Some see the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as an opportunity to monetize fear. However, people need to understand that in order to contain the virus, EVERYONE must have access to supplies such as alcohol.
Currently, the Philippines has 33 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Along with this, the country already has confirmed cases of local transmissions. This led the President to declare a public health emergency.
Following this, several measures were made to ensure the containment of the virus. These included travel bans to countries hit with COVID-19 all the way to banning students from crowded public areas such as malls.
