Dela Rosa Emphasized Chopper Carrying PNP Chief Is New
CHOPPER CARRYING PNP CHIEF – Earlier, Philippine National Police chief General Archie Francisco Gamboa was involved in a helicopter crash in Laguna.
According to reports, the PNP chief was rescued and quickly rushed to the hospital following the crash. His other companions on the chopper was brought to the hospital as well.
The PNP Chief was en route to Calamba town when the accident happened. Reports said that the chopper got tangled with the power lines shortly after it made a take-off.
Meanwhile, Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa said that the helicopter that carried the PNP chief was new.

He noted that it was the only Bell 429 twin-engine rotary-wing aircraft in the entire PNP.

Dela Rosa stated that they got the chopper during his run as the PNP chief. He added that it was Gamboa who lead the Bids and Awards Committee for its procurement.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, PNP Chief Archie Gamboa was conscious when he was rescued following the helicopter crash. He was already rushed to the hospital and as well as the other passengers of the chopper.
