Here’s the message of Mommy Carol to Mommy Divine.
MOMMY DIVINE – After the reports of Mommy Divine’s great objection to wedding of Sarah Geronimo, Mommy Carol expressed message to her.
“Divine intervention” is the term used when Mommy Divine, as per reports, came amid the civil wedding rites of her daughter Sarah Geronimo with actor Matteo Guidicelli. Mommy Divine is a strict mother to Sarah and this is probably an open secret to the public.
And now, after reports that she intervened her daughter’s wedding, many people expressed concern for the Popstar Royalty as they believed she deserved better than that and that she should earn support and respect from her family for for a long time, she been working hard for them and now’s the time for her to give herself the happiness she wanted with her other half.
In a report from PEP, a celebrity mother, Mommy Carol Santos, the mother of Judy Ann Santos, expressed message for Mommy Divine after these controversies hit online headlines. And here is her message:
“At the end of the day, ang isipin mo ay ang kaligayahan ng anak mo, hindi yung kaligayahan mo. Kasi ikaw, paalis ka na sa mundo. Itong mga anak mo, paumpisa pa lang, so you always wish them the best na mangyayari sa buhay nila.”
“At matuwa ka na nandiyan ka pa, nakita mong masaya na ang anak mo, right? Dapat talaga may support ka sa anak mo. Kahit nga ayaw mo ang mapapangasawa ng anak mo, the mere fact na gusto ng anak mo yun, wala kang magagawa. Kasi, ikaw ba ang pakikisamahan ng mapapangasawa. Pabayaan mo ang anak mo. Sila naman ang magiging maligaya. At the end of the day, kung magkakagulu-gulo, anak mo ang masisisi, at hindi ikaw.”
Accordingly, she should be supporting her daughter’s desire especially when it come to someone she would like to settle down with as they are entitle to have freedom when it comes to choosing someone they would like to spend the rest of their life with. As a parent, they have already done their part in children’s life and life in general, which is why she has to let Sarah start the life she wanted with Matteo, for that case.
Moreover, at the end of the day, if their children chose the wrong person, it would be their child’s responsibility and not theirs.
