Zsa Zsa Padilla Cries Foul Over Bato dela Rosa’s Comment On 11K ABS-CBN Workers
ZSA ZSA PADILLA – ABS-CBN actress and singer Zsa Zsa Padilla reacted to Senator Bato Dela Rosa’s comment on 11,000 workers.
Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte picked Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa as PNP chief in 2016. He then resigned from the post to run for senator in the 2019 midterm elections.
Recently, the politician reaffirmed his alliance with the chief executive amid the franchise renewal issue of the ABS-CBN network. He also said that the welfare of the Filipino should be prioritized over the 11,000 employees of the tv network.
Bato Dela Rosa’s statement elicited reactions from celebrities including Agot Isidro and DJ Chacha. Veteran actress Isidro said he shouldn’t have run for office if his loyalty is for one person only and not to his countrymen.
The radio star said he should just resign and apply as Rodrigo Duterte’s bodyguard. “I suggest mag-resign na dapat si Senator Bato sa pagiging senador at mag-apply na Bodyguard ng Presidente total naman ang loyalty niya ay sa Pangulo at hindi sa taong bayan,” she wrote.
Kapamilya actress Zsa Zsa Padilla also lambasted Bato Dela Rosa after he belittles the 11,000 workers. The prominent actress and singer took to Tweeter to express she was saddened by that statement. She said the families of those workers will also be affected if the tv network will be shut down.
“Sa tutoo lang, naiiyak ako sa mga naririnig kong salita. Bakit naman ganyan? Napakasakit naman. Hindi biro na mawalan ng hanap buhay. Hindi mo dapat ito gustuhin para sa kapwa mo at sabihin na ikabubuti ito ng pangkalahatan. May maibibigay bang kapalit na trabaho? Paano na?” she wrote.
