Sultan Kudarat Hit by Earthquake with 3.0 Magnitude
EARTHQUAKE – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded a 3.0 magnitude quake in Sultan Kudarat this morning, February 20, 2020.
Most of the time, quakes hit with no prior signs. Recently, several places in and out of the Philippines were shaken by quakes of different magnitudes.
One of the latest quakes recorded by Phivolcs is the 2.4 magnitude quake in La Union. There were no expected damage or aftershock due to the said quake.

Recently, Phivolcs recorded another quake in PH. Today, February 20, 2020, Sultan Kudarat was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0.
According to Phivolcs, the quake that jolted a part of Sultan Kudarat was located at 06.81°North, 124.99°East – 005 km North 87° East of Columbio at 05:14 am.
The quake was tectonic in origin and it has a 012 km.
Phivolcs stated in its bulletin that there are expected aftershock and damage caused by the quake. We’ll keep you posted for updates or further information. Keep safe everyone.
