What’s next after ‘America’s Got Talent’ stint of Marcelito Pomoy?
Pinoy singer Marcelito Pomoy is set to do these projects after his stint in America’s Got Talent: The Champions and ending the competition as the 4th placer.
New doors opened for Marcelito due to his international stint in the said popular talent show. He became an online sensation as many netizens expressed support for him. Although he did not win as the champion that did not hinder him that have more opportunities to showcase his talent to the whole world.
After the AGT stint, what is next for Marcelito?
Based on the article from The Philippine Star, his exposure in the US talent show, his career was jump-started for the international entertainment scene. He is set to do a series of shows this coming months.
In an interview with Kapamilya showbiz reporter MJ Felipe, Marcelito revealed that he will do shows in Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Canada, Australia, and the United States soon.
“Sa ngayon kasi, kahit third place ako, makatungtong ka lang sa ‘America’s Got Talent,’ malaking factor na sa ‘yo ‘yan, e, kasi all over the world ang nakakakilala sa ‘yo. Noong audition ko pa lang, ang daming nag-inquire sa akin, puro international, kaya ang saya ko na,” the singer said.
He also said that his opportunity to perform in an international stage and awed the international audience and not just his fellow Pinoys, boosted his confidence in his talent. The singer admitted that he somehow felt bad regarding the result of the competition. However, he said that he accepted his fate.
“Kahit sino namang contestant, ‘pag tinawag kang third place or fourth place, siyempre nakakasama rin ng loob. Sa akin, okay lang, kasi siyempre, malaking (advantage) sa akin kasi nakilala ako all over the world,” he said.
On the other hand, Marcelito Pomoy is thankful for the opportunity that he had in AGT as well as to the people in front and behind the camera for what they imparted to him, based on the article.
