Throwback Photos of Dismissed Workers Protesting vs ABS-CBN Goes Viral

A fearless netizen has shared the throwback photos of dismissed workers protesting against ABS-CBN over alleged labor code violation in 2010.

The Kapamilya network has become the headlines of local and even international companies over shutdown issues. The Duterte administration refused to approve the giant network’s franchise.

Earlier this week, Solicitor General Jose Calida has also filed a quo warranto petition seeking to revoke the franchise of ABS-CBN. Calida wants to shut down the network over its alleged violation.

The giant media company’s franchise was set to expire on March 30, 2020 but it could still operate until Congress made its decision. The Kapamilya stars also expressed their disappointment regarding the shutdown.

Recently, a Facebook user named Christopher Mendoza has shared the throwback photos of hundreds of dismissed workers protesting against the giant network for allegedly violating the labor code in 2010.
