Actor Robin Padilla fires back to bashers of his deleted post regarding his alleged “panlalaglag” to ABS-CBN.
It can be recalled that Robin, who is a known supporter of the Duterte administration, posted about the equality that people should know when it comes to the law. He shared this post amid he heated argument on social media between those who support the Kapamilya network and those who are in favor to shut it down.
However, the actor also received a massive amount of bashing because of this. Later on, he decided to take down his post. In his recent post on Facebook, Robin revealed why he deleted his post. It is because his wife, Mariel Padilla, is still part of the Kapamilya network.
“Inalis ko na rin ang mga post ko kahapon sa instagram at fb about the legal issue of Abscbn not the franchise issue bilang respeto ko sa asawa ko na si mariel she said to me im a kapamilya forever,” he shared.
He also fired back to bashers who said that he betrayed his network. “Nilaglag ko daw ang network ko wow! Mga kababayan kahit na sino kahit kaibigan ko kapatid ko kapamilya ko at kamag anak ko kapag lumabag ka sa batas dapat kang magbayad sa batas dahil ako nagbayad ako ng tatlong taon,” the actor said.
Robin Padilla said that he trusts the law because he was able to experience its strength and sweetness as well. “Kung wala silang kasalanan it will be their glory and pride so let them fight it in our courts,” he stressed out. He added that the public should not be “spoilers” as she likened the situation to a teleserye. He added that his deleted post focused on the legal issue of ABS-CBN and not on its franchise issue.
For Robin, everyone should wait for the revelation in order to know the truth. The actor also said that his fellow actor Phillip Salvador advised him not to mingle with this issue. “Sinabihan din ako ni kuya ipe salvador na magrelax at tumahimik dahil walang alam si mayor PRRD sa hakbang ng solgen kaya balik na lang ako sa aking journey towards spirituality,” he said.
