Australian Reporter Frightened After Snake Strikes Her Microphone
WAGGA WAGGA, Australia – An Australian reporter identified as Sarah Cawte gets shocked and terrified after a snake around her neck repeatedly attacks the microphone.
Sarah Cawte is seen panicking and screaming as the snake attacked the microphone while doing her report. The snake is draping around the neck of the female reporter while telling the viewers that animals are more scared of people.
However, the people behind the camera are heard laughing but also offering a little sympathy towards the journalist. The people also told her to stand still and to be brave enough although she is very nervous.
The lady reporter shows courage and proves her professionalism for completing her report about snake safety. She keeps her eye on the snake while reporting and the reptile eventually calms down.
“I was just there to shoot a couple of shots for this package about snake safety…and I kind of psyched myself up to have one draped around my shoulders, My cameraman and this snake handler just stood there, and they thought it was hilarious,” Cawte said.
After completing the report, Cawte told the handler to take it off away from her. “I didn’t want it on me any longer,” Cawte added.
