PAGASA – Latest Weather Updates As Of February 6, 2020 (Thursday)
PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this February 6, 2020.
The bureau’s early morning forecast states that amihan or the northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon.
According to GMA News, the bureau is currently observing a low pressure area that was last seen at about 705 kilometers east of the city of Davao.
The extension of the said weather disturbance will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region.
Flash floods or landslides might occur especially during heavy rains, the bureau warned.
Amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.
The northeast monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, as well as the rest of Luzon.
As per the report, the rest of Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides especially during severe thunderstorms.
