Marcelito Pomoy is now one of the grand finalists in ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions‘
Pinoy singer Marcelito Pomoy, who is known for his dual voice, made it to America’s Got Talent: The Champions Grand Finals.
During his first performance, Marcelito awed the judges with his performance of the song The Prayer. That time, only the staff of the talent show knew about his dual voice – that he can perfectly sing both the female and male voice.
His performance garnered a standing ovation from the judges as well as from the audience. With that performance, he advanced to the semi-finals. After that, he had the chance to have a photo op with the AGT judges backstage which brought him added happiness.
The singer who already thought of giving up his passion for singing once again found new hope. His international achievement also became a pride of his fellow Filipinos. Now, he once again made everyone proud as he stood on the AGT stage for the semi-finals.
Marcelito Pomoy sang the song “Con Te Partirò” by Andrea Bocelli. Once again, he showcased how easy for him to sing with a dual voice. At the end of his performance, loud cheer can be heard. Judge Howie Mandel said that he has the best shot of winning the competition.
“I just love everything about you Marcelito,” judge Alesha Dixon commented. For judge Heidi Klum, the performance of the Pinoy singer is the most-awaited. She added that Marcelito is her favorite.
On the other hand, judge Simon Cowell said, “If you make it to the finals, I think you need to take a bigger risk because the surprise is now over.” This garnered a “boo” reaction from some of the people in the audience. However, Simon said that the Pinoy singer has a massive career in front of him.
On Marcelito’s IG story, he thanked Magandang Buhay host Karla Estrada for congratulating for making it to the grand finals.
