‘Marcelito Pomoy had the chance to meet the judges of ‘America’s Got Talent’
Singer Marcelito Pomoy met the judges of the talent search America’s Got Talent after his performance which garnered a standing ovation.
Once again, another Pinoy created a loud buzz on the international stage as Marcelito was included in The Champions edition of AGT. It can be recalled that the singer won the second edition of Pilipinas Got Talent back in 2011.
In 2018, he made an appearance on The Ellen Show, the talk show of Ellen DeGeneres. Through that, he was able to meet the diva herself, Celine Dion.
The Pinoy singer added a feather to his cap when he awed the audience of AGT, as well as the judges – Simone Cowell, Howie Mandel, Alesha Dixon and Heidi Klum. They definitely did not expect a superb performance from Marcelito through the song The Prayer which is usually a duet.
Several celebrities in the Philippines expressed happiness for his international stint such as Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano. Apparently, his happiness did not end just on stage. At the backstage, he was able to have a close encounter with the judges.
MJ Felipe, entertainment reporter of the Kapamilya network, shared on his Twitter account this rare opportunity. The post stated: “Marcelito met all four judges after the show. For him, it was a great confidence booster talking to the judges especially when Simon Cowell told him ‘You are a great singer.'”
Marcelito Pomoy will fly back to the United States of America next month for the semi-final round of AGT.
