Israeli Biological Warefare Analyst Says Coronavirus Linked To Biological Weapons
CORNOVARIUS LINKED TO BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS – Amidst the rampant spread of the Wuhan coronavirus, an Israeli biological warfare analyst says the outbreak may be linked to biological weapons.
According to the analyst, the deadly-animal-borne coronavirus that has spread globally could have come from a laboratory in Wuhan affiliated with China’s covert biological weapons program.
Based on an article from the Washington Times, there was a rebroadcast made by Radio Free Asia last weet of a report from 2015. It showed China’s most advanced virus research laboratory called “The Wuhan Institute of Virology”.
The said laboratory is the only one in China that was capable of handling and working with deadly viruses. Following this, Dany Shoham, a former Israeli Military Intelligence Officer who studied Chinese biological warfare stated the institute is linked with Beijing’s bio-weapons program.
Shoham made this statement to the Washington Times :
Certain laboratories in the institute have probably been engaged, in terms of research and development, in Chinese [biological weapons], at least collaterally, yet not as a principal facility of the Chinese BW alignment
In an email, Shoham revealed that work on biological weapons was conducted as part of a dual civilian-military research and was definitely classified.
As per the article, Shoham holds a doctorate in medical microbiology from 1970 to 1991. He was also a senior analyst with the Israeli Military Intelligence for Biological and Chemical Warfare in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, China has denied procuring any type of offensive biological weapons. However, a State Department reported suspicions of covert biological warfare work last year.
Following this, the US State Department had raised its travel warning to Level 3. This warns passengers to “reconsider travel” to China as the virus remained rampant.
The State Department had also issued a Level 4 advisory for the city of Wuhan. This is the most severe level as passengers are urged not to travel to that area.
