Video Shows Theme Park Forcing Live Pig To Bungee Jump

THEME PARK – Chinese theme park launched a live pig off a 230ft high bungee jump to open its new attraction and attract visitors.

Lots of animal cruelty cases reported every day. Sadly, most cases are never reported. Animals that are most often reported are cats, dogs, and horses.

There are lots of organizations from different parts of the world that protects the rights of animals. They save strays, abandoned and abused animals.

Now, a bizarre video of a pig being tied up and thrown off a bungee tower drawn outrage from the netizens. Based on a report from EcoWatch, a theme park in China throw the pig off a 230 feet high bungee jump to publicize their latest tourist attraction.

According to the report, the harrowing video of the pig was slammed by animal lovers. The spokesperson of the theme park Mexin Village of Wine said the stunt was planned to gain more tourist and try their new bungee jump. The spokesperson said the pig was later slaughtered.

It can be seen in the video that the pig was being carried up the tower with its legs bound and tied. After the backlash, the amusement park issued an apology.

“We sincerely accept netizens’ criticism and advice and apologise to the public… We will improve [our] marketing of the tourist site, to provide tourists with better services.”
