Wowowin host Willie Revillame chose to cancel his birthday celebration on his program due to this reason.

Willie’s game show in the Kapuso network is one of the most-watched TV programs. It is known to be entertaining as well as for the big prizes that await the studio contestants.

January is the birthday month of the game show host. He is supposed to do his birthday celebration on the program next Monday on January 27, based on the report from GMA Entertainment.

However, Willie Revillame said that his birthday celebration will not push through because of this reason. He decided to go live on Wowowin and help those who were affected by the Taal volcano eruption.

“Dapat birthday ko ‘yon celebration magbibigay akong dalwang house and lot sa loob ng studio, outside ng studio which ginamit namin ang YouTube para mag-greetings, kung sino ‘yong babati tatawagan ko para mabigyan ko ng house and lot,” he said.

The host said that when he saw the news, his decision changed. “Bakit ako magce-celebrate ng maraming akong kababayan na naghihirap,” he said.

With that, Willie announced that he will go live on his show this January 27 and he will do ways to help the Taal eruption evacuees. Then, the TV host shared that he talked to local officials Batangas, Cavite and Tagaytay, based on the article. That included Congresswoman Vilma Santos, Congressman Bambol Tolentino and Tagaytay City Mayor Agnes Tolentino in order to ask help for this endeavor.

It can be recalled that Willie Revillame was able to capture on video the erupting volcano. His mansion near Taal lake was also flooded by ash.
