Thousands Of Devotees Took Part In ‘Walk W/ Mary” in Cebu City
CEBU CITY – In Cebu City, thousands of devotees gathered at dawn along at the Fuente Osmeña and along Osmeña boulevard to join the foot procession.
Cebu City is ready for the 455th Sinulog Santo Niño Festival on the third Sunday of January this year. It is one of the famous festivals in the country. Sinulog attracts millions of tourists and devotees from all parts of the country.
The festival started on January 9. Thousands of devotees flock to the Pilgrim Center of the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño to attend the mass. This year’s themes is “Santo Niño: Cause of Our Unity and Charity.” Some devotees brought their replicas of the child Jesus.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray also graced at the coronation night of Binibining Cebu 2020. Her Cebuano fans were amazed by her beauty and talent in singing.
On Friday morning, thousands of devotees took part in the foot procession “Walk with Mary. Photos of the event were shared on Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu Facebook Page.
Based on a report from GMA News, devotees gathered at dawn at the Fuente Osmeña and Osmeña boulevard. The security forces were also stationed in different locations to maintain peace and order during the procession.
The image of Sr. Santo Niño will be returned to Santo Niño church on Saturday through a fluvial procession.
