NATIONWIDE RATINGS – Here’s the nationwide television ratings of the shows from ABS-CBN and GMA. Who wins the ratings game?
Audience measurement shows help broadcasters and advertisers determine who is listening rather than just how many people are listening. This is also in relation to radio “listenership” and television viewership.
Based on PEP’s report, despite the power outages in Southern Luzon, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remained on top spot based on National TV Ratings (Urban + Rural) of Kantar Media. Last January 10, FPJAP earned 31.5% versus 14.7% of Beautiful Justice.
Other programs such as Kadenang Ginto beaten up by Prima Donnas having 15.3% and 18.4%, respectively which is the same with Kapamilya’s Sandugo at 11.4% compared to GMA’s Madrasta at 14.4%.
Also, in January 13, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano notched 29.9% while Beautiful Justice made 16.9%, It’s Showtime at 15.7% and Prima Donnas with 19.2%, and Kadenang Ginto with 16.5% and Madrasta at 13.6%.
On the other hand, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil’s teleserye, Make It With You, aired its pilot episode last January 13 registering 27.4% in ratings with its rival The Gift at a TV rating of 14.8% notching 12.6 points higher that GMA’s program.
And on it’s final night in January 10, Judy Ann Santos’s prime-time series, Starla, registered a TV rating of 29.3% on its finale night while the rival The Gift which is is top-billed by Alden Richards.
Kantar media “uses a panel size of 2,610 of rural and urban homes which represents the 100 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population”.
