VP Leni Robredo Visits Areas Affected By Taal Volcano Eruption
TAAL VOLCANO – Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo visited the communities affected by the Taal volcano eruption.
On Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) clarified that the Taal volcano is still under alert level 4. In a previous article, the agency said the lava fountain has weakened but it is not slowing down.
Thousands of people who live near the Taal lake were forced to flee their houses for their safety. Aside from the eruption and ashfalls, there are also constant earthquakes that could destroy their homes.
