The primetime TV series of Coco has been on the air for almost 4 years now. It has been reigning the rating game for the longest time. The popularity of the main characters also took a higher notch as years went by.

With this, no wonder the show continued to be number on its timeslot in that long period of time. However, there has been speculation that the action-drama series will soon be replaced.

Based on the article from PEP, a fan account of actress/dancer Maja Salvador @majasuperstar tweeted that the upcoming KathNiel series is a candidate to replace Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. It was said that the tweet was insider information.

“Tanging Mahal, new teleserye of KathNiel na ishoshoot sa Mexico lang naman. As far as I know, sa 1st slot ito naka position but we’ll see kung may extension pa si Cardo. From the title itself, parang big drama romance feels ito,” the post stated.

Tanging Mahal is the title of the new series of the reel and real-life couple. It was reported previously that this will be shot in Mexico. The KathNiel series was included in ABS-CBN’s plug showcasing the network’s new shows this 2020.

Based on the article, the plug just featured clips from the previous series of the celebrity couple, the La Luna Sangre. Then, the title of their new series was revealed. However, at the time of writing, no other details were revealed regarding the new TV project of Daniel and Kathryn.
