At Least 170 Left Dead by Ukranian Plane Crash in Iran

UKRANIAN PLANE CRASH – At least 170 people were left dead when a Ukranian airplane crashed in Iran.

Just a few minutes ago in Philippine time, a lot of people were shocked and saddened by reports about a Ukranian airplane. Reportedly, a plane crashed shortly after its take-off in Iran.

In Tehran time, Boeing 737-800 was set to depart Imam Khomeini Airport at 05:15 in the morning for Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv, Ukranian. However, there was a little delay resulting for the plane to be able to leave the airport at 06:12 in the morning.

The said Ukranian plane was reportedly carrying at least 170 people. Some reports also stated that there were a total of 180 people including the passengers and the crews.

Unfortunately, the airplane crashed shortly after it departed the airport in Iran. The Ukranian plane crash took place between Parand City and Shahriar City.

The incident immediately reached the authorities and emergency rescues were sent to the area. However, the place was in a blaze challenging the rescuers in providing assistance.

Sadly, based on a report on USA Today citing TV reports, all passengers counted to at least 170 people were left dead by the Ukranian plane crash incident. According to Iranian emergency officer Pir Hossein Kulivand, the rescuers are now collecting the bodies of the victims.

Tehran Civil Aviation spokesperson Reza Jafarzadeh expressed that an investigation team immediately came to the site after the news sparked. Currently, the total number of the passengers and crews aboard the Ukranian plane have yet to be clarified.
