180 People Suspected Dead Following Ukranian Plane Crash in Iran

UKRANIAN PLANE – A Ukranian passenger airplane carrying around 180 people crashed in Iran.

Recently, several heartbreaking incidents are happening. Aside from the tension between Iran and the United States and the bushfire in Australia, another unfortunate incident took place in Iran.

Based on a report on CNN, citing ISNA, a Ukranian plane crashed shortly after its take-off from Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran, Iran. Around 180 people are suspectedly aboard the Boeing 737-800 including passengers and crews.

According to Iran Emergency Medical Services head Pirhossein Koulivand, quick emergency rescues were provided. However, the area was ablaze making it hard for the rescuers to assist. The incident took place on the area between the cities of Shahriar and Parand.

Based on the report, ISNA said that the crash was due to technical difficulties. Based on a report on Aljazeera, Iran’s Red Crescent expressed that there’s no chance that there are survivors.

Supposedly, the plane was scheduled for take-off at 5:15 in the morning (Tehran time). It is bound to Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv, Ukranian. There was a delay and the plane departed at 6:12 in the morning.
