Radio host Jobert Sucaldito apologized to Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre following his controversial remark on air.
Jobert expressed his tirade against Nadine on the recent episode of his radio program on DZMM, the AM radio station of ABS-CBN. The radio host defended veteran columnist Ricky Lo after the actress belied what was stated in his column about her rumored breakup with James Reid.
Jobert said that Nadine has no right to say those kind of things to Ricky. The radio host received a big round of criticisms online, especially from JaDine fans. They also pointed out the remark of Jobert regarding mental health.
In line with his remark against the actress, ABS-CBN News Chief Ging Reyes released a statement. She said that they investigated the issue. JaDine fans came to the rescue to defend the actress. Several of them took to social media their demand that Jobert should apologize to Nadine. Apparently, they unified cry was heard.
Based on the article from PUSH, Jobert Sucaldito already apologized to Nadine Lustre. “I would like to apologize to Ms. Nadine Lustre and to those who got bothered by that sa aspetong ito. I am also apologizing to my radio network DZMM for putting them in discomfort because of this,” he said.
It can be recalled that rumors about the alleged breakup of Nadine and James surfaced after the new year celebration. Allegedly, their breakup was due to irreconcilable differences and the actress already left their home where they are living together.
