ABS-CBN News released a statement on the tirade of Jobert Sucaldito against Nadine Lustre
Jobert Sucaldito aired his tirade against Nadine Lustre on his radio program on DZMM and the ABS-CBN News released a statement regarding this.
The entertainment reporter took the side of fellow Ricky Lo who wrote an article about the rumored breakup of the actress and boyfriend James Reid. Nadine denied the claim of Ricky in his article regarding the status of her relationship with her boyfriend.
The actress slammed the veteran columnist. She said, “you think you know so much abt me, you can’t even get my last name right. ANU NA, 2020 NA!!” Nadine wrote this on his Instagram story a few hours after the column of Ricky Lo was published.
Jobert defended the the entertainment columnist on his radio program. “Di ba yun naman ang gusto nila? Kuno kuno may mga labas ang pwet, naka-T-back pa dun sa building tapos may nakalagay na mga caption na mga parang gustong tumalon. Sana tumalon na lang kung ganun din naman pala,” he said.
The statement of the entertainment reporter did not sit well with fans of JaDine. They took to Twitter their protest against Jobert Sucaldito. Some were even demanding that the reporter should apologize to the Kapamilya actress for what he said on air.
As DZMM is the AM radio franchise of the Kapamilya network, ABS-CBN News Chief Ging Reyes released a statement. She said that they take the issue of mental health very seriously.
The News Chief also said that they are already investigating the reports against the DZMM host against Nadine Lustre. “Our journalists and other members of our team are accountable for their on-air statements,” Reyes stated.
JaDine fans expressed gratitude that ABS-CBN News is taking action regarding this matter.
