Here’s what Nadine Lustre said about rumored breakup with James Reid
Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre has finally spoken about her rumored breakup with boyfriend singer-actor James Reid.
When 2020 entered, the name of James and Nadine created a loud buzz as they allegedly ended their almost four-year relationship. For several days, the couple remained silent regarding this issue.
However, JaDine fans slammed the breakup rumors as they stressed out that the couple is still together. Even actress Coleen Garcia shared in an interview that James and Nadine are okay as they were together during the new year countdown.
Amid the speculations on the real status of JaDine’s relationship, Nadine Lustre finally broke her silence. The actress expressed her thoughts regarding the article of The Philippine Star’s columnist Ricky Lo.
The said article appeared to be confirming the article about the rumored breakup which was first published on the site of PEP. “Come on, Nadine, it’s 2020. James is not the only “fish” in the sea,” the latter part of the article stated.
In line with this, the Kapamilya actress called out the attention of Ricky Lo and PhilStar. Nadine labeled the article “low”.
She also belied the allegations regarding her relationship with James. “None of what you said was true,” she said. “It is NEVER okay to use someone’s mental situation/tragic past just to prove a point. Mental Illness is a very sensitive matter,” the actress added.
Nadine also stressed out that the columnist is wrong that he thought he knows so much about her. Then, the actress used the last part of Lo’s article for the latter part of her statement. “[And] last, you think you know so much abt me, you can’t even get my last name right. ANU NA, 2020 NA!!” she said.
