Thailand Implements Plastic Bag Ban & Gives Alternative Container For Consumers
Thailand has already implemented the ban on plastic bags and came up with an idea of providing creative containers for the consumers.
Over the past few decades, plastic pollution is one of the major environmental problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. Waste pollution continues to increase throughout the years.
The government and various environmental organizations are already taking steps to reduce the increasing rate of garbage pollution particularly with plastic wastes. However, people who lack discipline continue to dispose their garbage improperly.
Several companies have banned the use of plastic straws and other plastic materials with the aim to reduce plastic pollution. Firms were already finding alternatives to replace plastic materials.
Recently, a Facebook user named Sammy Fujoshi Yuri has shared the photos of several establishments in Thailand after implementing the plastic bag ban at the start of 2020.
In the photos, it can be seen that some establishment was using different materials to replace plastic bags. Those alternative materials are much better than plastics that can cause a negative impact on the environment.
