New Year Post of Actress Julia Barretto Shows Gratitude Over Year 2019
JULIA BARRETTO – The young Kapamilya actress reflected on the year 2019 after she was hooked by controversies.
One of the celebrities who was greatly hooked by controversies in 2019 is actress Julia Barretto. She was accused as the third party in the breakup of Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo.
Julia worked with Gerald in the movie Between Maybes. She was also accused of cheating on her ex-boyfriend, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Joshua Garcia. They broke up in 2019.
Amid massive criticisms from the public, both Gerald and Julia clarified that she is not the reason behind the split. Several people have also spoken to defend the two (2) celebrities.
Last year, Julia also lost a very important person in her life – her grandfather, Miguel Barretto. Calling him as ‘Pikey’, he is one of the people closest to the heart of the young actress.
It was in October when Miguel died. It was followed by several controversies which started with a commotion between his daughters, Marjorie, Claudine, and Gretchen, at his wake.
Julia Barretto was also involved at the issue. Amid it, she stood by her mother and continued showing her love and support to her.
As a new year unfolds, Julia Barretto reflected on the passing year. She is grateful to the year 2019 as it has been “a year of courage, strength and most of all bravery”.
