CATRIONA GRAY – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray welcomed the new year with a letter to her younger self.
Filipina-Australian beauty queen, model, singer, and book author Catriona Gray was crowned as the Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. She’s the fourth Filipina to win the prestigious competition.
The 25-year-old celebrity is back in the country after crowning her successor Zozibini Tunzi last December in Atlanta, Georgia. She said she plans to pursue her career in music. A few weeks ago, she wrote a book entitled “Conquering Your Universe.” It is set to be released in 2020.
During her homecoming press conference, Catriona Gray was asked to pic a Pinay celebrity she thinks could become the next Miss Universe. She believed actress Liza Soberano has the potential to be the next beauty queen.
“Everyone’s always wanted Liza to join, ‘di ba? She’s very very beautiful. I feel like she would be wonderful,” said Catriona.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray welcomed the new year with a letter to her 15-year-old self. On Wednesday, she shared a photo of her younger self hugging a tree, a selfie with her dad, and her photo sitting on the beach.
The beauty queen told her 15-year-old self to “trust in the process.” “You’ll discover work that you love that makes you feel fulfilled. And it’s nothing that you’d expected, but it’s greater than you’ve ever, ever dreamed. Never, ever lose your faith,” she said.
