Catriona Gray Thinks This Actress Has What It Takes To Become Beauty Queen
CATRIONA GRAY – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray thinks this ABS-CBN actress has what it takes to become the next beauty queen.
Filipina-Australian beauty queen and recording artist Catriona Gray was crowned as Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand last year. After passing the crown to Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi on December 8 in Atlanta, Georgia, she went back to the Philippines to pursue her career in music.
The 25-year-old beauty queen is also set to release a book entitled “Conquering Your Universe” next year. She said she’s excited to finally pursue her life long dream in her own country.
Based on a report from Philstar, Catriona Gray attend the press conference on Thursday, December 12, after she signed a contract with ABS-CBN’s publishing arm.
During the event, the beauty queen was asked to pick a Filipina celebrity she thinks could become the next beauty queen. She’s also aware that lots of people want to see the actress joining beauty pageants.
“Everyone’s always wanted Liza to join, ‘di ba? She’s very very beautiful. I fell like she would be wonderful,” she said.
However, Miss Universe 2019 Catriona Gray, does not want to pressure Liza Soberano to join beauty pageants. According to the report, she explained that anyone who’s interested to join has to be passionate about it.
“But I really feel that it needs to be the girl who wants to do it. Even of you have so many people saying, ‘Yes, this is for you! This is your path!’, unless you feel it… It needs to be your own passion, it needs to be your own will,” Catriona said.
The trailer of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil’s tv-series comeback entitled “Make It With You” is finally released. It is directed by award-winning director Cathy Garcia Molina.
