A day before U2’s concert at the Philippine Arena, frontman Bono led the launch of the blood delivery service. The singer is the board member of Zipline, a drone service that collaborates with the Philippine Red Cross. Angel Locsin was spotted at the event.

During the contract signing, he said he has no plans to meet with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. He explained that ‘Digong’ was already famous and that “he doesn’t need him on his side.”

GMA News shared a clip of U2’s concert on Twitter. It can be seen in the video that the stadium is packed with fans lighting up their cellphones.

During the show, the Rockstar asked his fans to include journalists, activists, and volunteers in their prayers.

“Red Cross is in the house tonight, volunteers. Let’s keep them in our prayers, the ones who keep us safe from physical harm…”

“Also in our prayers, let’s keep the journalist, the truth-tellers, the activists who keep this country spiritually safe. We salute you. Truth tellers, everyday heroes. Let’s see our lights, let’s see out starts in the middle of the sky,” he added.
