Angel Locsin Attends Philippine Red Cross Event Of U2 Vocalist

ANGEL LOCSIN – Actress Angel Locsin attend the contract signing of the Philippine Red Cross and Zipline to show support for ‘U2’ vocalist’s endeavor.

Last week, Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin and her soon to be husband went to Japan to watch the ‘U2’ concert. Her co-star in her latest teleserye The General’s DaughterEula Valdez was there too.

The 34-year-old celebrity shared several clips of the Irish rock band’s performance. In the caption, she said she cried after she saw frontman Bono coming to the stage. She also said she was jumping throughout the concert.

Based on a report from PEP, singer Bono is currently in the Philippines to hold a concert at the Philippine Arena on December 11, 2019. This is their first-ever concert in the country.

“Manila is an exciting, kinetic city. Our band is very excited about our first time to play in Manila,” he said.

The 59-year-old Rockstar talked to the press during the contract signing between the Philippine Red Cross and Zipline, a service that specializes in deliveries by drones.

According to the report, the Philippine Red Cross and Zipline plan to use the drone to deliver blood supplies across the Philippines. It could save money and time to deliver necessities especially in times of disaster. The U2 frontman is a board member of the drone delivery service.

“Music is my passion but I think Zipline is where all my other passions come together: which is that commerce should serve people, not people serve commerce; the idea that the brightest of minds shine even brighter when they work for the most vulnerable lives; and I suppose that all of us, that our intellect serve our ideals. This is why I’m excited about Zipline,” he said.

ABS-CBN actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce were at the event too. She is one of the active members of the Philippine Red Cross. She uploaded videos of the singer on her Instagram account. In the caption, she praised Bono for his advocacy.
