Elderly Woman Dies After Being Hit By Jeepney in Bacolod City
BACOLOD – An elderly woman has died after being struck by a jeepney in Bacolod City today December 12.
Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere. The best way to avoid these unfortunate events is to be alert and follow road rules for our own safety.
There are lots of motorists who are overspeeding on the highway. Thousands of people die each year caused by overspeeding. Most of the victims are children and elderly people.
That’s the reason why the government placed lots of traffic enforcers to help the people cross the road safely and maintain a good road situation. However, there are still lots of stubborn drivers who wanted to show off in the streets even if there are lots of people.
An elderly woman was fatally hit by a jeepney vehicle at Barangay Tangub in Bacolod City earlier today, December 12. A Facebook user named Liie Zel uploaded a heartbreaking photo of the old woman. In the caption, she said the accident broke the old woman’s skull.
It can be seen in the photos that the elderly woman got stuck underneath the vehicle.
