Class Suspension Declared in These Areas on Friday (December 6)

WALANG PASOK – Several local government units have declared class suspension in different areas due to the aftermath of Typhoon Tisoy.

Throughout the week, Typhoon Tisoy brought an inclement weather condition over some parts of the country. Typhoon Kammuri lashed several areas with violent winds and heavy rains that triggered flashfloods and landslides.

Tisoy weakened into a tropical depression before leaving the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday (December 5, 2019). However, the tropical cyclone causes damage to numerous houses, buildings, and properties.

Class Suspension

Several provinces affected by the disastrous typhoon have been also declared under the state of calamity after the Kammuri’s devastation.

On Friday (December 6, 2019), several local government units have declared the suspension of classes due to the typhoon’s aftermath. The class cancellations have been done to ensure the safety of the students.
