PAGASA – Tisoy Weakens Further, About To Exit PAR

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that tropical cyclone Tisoy has weakened into a tropical storm as it’s about to exit PAR.

The bureau said that it was last spotted at about 540 kilometers west of the town of Subic, Zambales as of 4 AM.

According to ABS-CBN, Tisoy, internationally called Kammuri, was packed with maximum sustained winds of about 65 kilometers per hour and gustiness of about 80 kilometers per hour. It is currently moving west at about 15 kilometers per hour.

The storm is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at Thursday morning.

As per the report, the cold front’s tail-end from the Pacific Ocean will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorm over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Aurora province.

Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light rains due to amihan or northeast monsoon will be faced by Ilocos Region and the rest of Luzon.

As for the capital and the rest of the country, they will face fair weather with instances of localized thunderstorms.
