Teenage Netizen Admits She Was Lying About Being Kidnapped

TEENAGE NETIZEN – A teenage netizen who made a post about her being kidnapped recently admitted that she was lying.

According to ABS-CBN, the teenager, under the alias Sarah, recently disclosed that there is no truth in the viral post where she claimed that she was allegedly kidnapped by a man in Quezon City.

Sarah’s mother went to the police station for blotter, further showing texts from the kidnapper asking her for ransom.

Not long after, Sarah, with her mother, appeared to the station. At first, she said that the kidnappers freed her because her parents could not afford the ransom.

Upon further interrogation, everyone was shocked when she revealed it was all a lie. Sarah explained that the reason why she pretended about being kidnapped is to know if there will be people who will worry about her.

As per the news, Sarah actually went to the church and went to her friend’s house to sleep.

The captain of the barangay further urged the public not to spread fake warnings since this will create fear to the public.

As for Sarah, she will be under counseling for her actions.
