A concerned netizen uses social media to seeks help for the elderly woman who still work as a vendor despite old age.
Recently, a Facebook user named Kring man shares a story of an elderly woman who still work as vendor despite old age to support grandchild. a netizen shared how she usually sees Lola Gloria at the Northgate Cyberzone in Muntinlupa.
According to his post, the 82-year-old Gloria Tupas was selling ampao, paborita, kakanin, etc… There are many buyers and most of the time some never ask for their change, occasionally Kring have helped to get upsell.
There were also kind strangers who would help Lola carry her goods to another location. There are also many van operators who would give Lola a ride home.
Kring shared that Lola Gloria even offered to do her laundry to earn extra cash. She joked, “Then she said baka like ko daw magpalaba. Juicekoporudy, sa laki ng mga damit ko po ha. Kidding aside, I told her hanap ako way to help.”
The kind netizen is now appealing to the public to be generous whenever they see the hardworking Lola. She hoped more people would extend help and maybe someday, Lola’s dream of owning a house and a small store would come true.
