Hosts of Umagang Kay Ganda Did Video Greeting For the 20th Anniversary of Unang Hirit
UMAGANG KAY GANDA – The hosts of ABS-CBN’s ‘Umangang Kay Ganda’ did a video greeting for the 20th anniversary of their rival program ‘Unang Hirit.’
We feel good in ourselves when somebody greets us like on our birthday or on any special occasion. A polite and friendly greeting from our friends is enough to complete our day.
However, some of us thought it’s strange to receive greetings from our foes. It will surely make us feel a little bit shock but it really is humble and heartwarming.
Recently, ABS-CBN’s morning show ‘Umagang Kay Ganda’ thoughtfully greeted their rival in GMA-7 ‘Unang Hirit’ for its 20th anniversary. The Kapamilya hosts did a video greeting for them.
It seems the hosts from GMA and ABS-CBN were not affected by the network war. ‘Umagang Kay Ganda’ hosts Anthony Taberna, Amy Perez, Winnie Cordero, Long Mejia, Jorge Carino, K Brosas, Jeff Canoy, and Ariel Ureta shot a video saying “Happy Anniversary” to their rival program.
Reporter Jeff Canoy was the one who uploaded the video on his Twitter account. The viral video was also aired on live TV on December 3.
“Mula po sa pambansang morning show ng Pilipinas, happy anniversary, Uniang Hirit!” the Umagang Kay Ganda hosts said.
Canoy also captioned his Tweet, “Mula sa @ukgdos, happy 20th anniversary sa @UningHirit!”

Based on a report from PEP, the hosts of the GMA-7 program took the time to thank the ABS-CBN host for their greetings before they finish their episode. “Nais nating pasalamatan ang isa sa mga bumati sa atin, ang mga taga-UKG,” said Arnold Clavio.
Other hosts of the show Suzi Entrata, Susan Enriquez, Mang Tani Cruz, Lhar Santiago, Luanne Dy, and Pia Arcangel cheered and said hello to the Kapamilya hosts.
Reporter Arnold Clavio shared a video of himself thanking the hosts of their rival program. He uploaded the video on his Instagram account. It came with a caption, “Maraming Salamat sa pagbati @iamtunying28 at sa @ukgdos.”
